The fourth of only five extremely hollow Canada
geese carved from old-growth redwood in 1989 by Capriola for hunting on Humboldt Bay.
This bird is in original paint (oil) and exhibits some wear on the
tail and bill. Rasp finish on body. Hairline crack in the
head. Bottom is varnished
with lead weight and leather thong and branded with the maker's
initials. Overall length is just under 23" |
