| Circa 1987, The last available bird from a rig of a dozen and made from
World War II Navy Life Raft Balsa from Mare Island Naval Shipyard.
Redwood head with wooden eyes. Original paint with excellent patina
from use on Humboldt Bay, Lake Earl, and the Butte Sink. Overall
condition is good with minor wear and cracks, with leather anchor line
attachment and lead ballast weight with initials "RC" cast into
weight. |
