| Circa 1989, two from a rig of 21 including 6 tippers
made from old growth redwood. Hollow with oak keels that have
inletted lead weight. Glass eyes and bill detail round out these
original paint decoys with comb painting and minor wear from use on
Humboldt Bay, and the Butte Sink of California. Overall
excellent condition but drake has a small 1/4"chip out of top of tail
and small crack at bottom edge of decoy. Both are branded by the
maker and marked in block letters "CAPRIOLA". |
