Two of twelve carved in 1991 for hunting at the mouth of the Klamath River California. Drake has head turned 90 degrees; hen has a low-head "snuggler" pose. Hollow redwood and oil paint with weighed keels. Original paint exhibiting fine comb painting and blending; excellent in-use patina. Glass eyes and carved bill detail with minor wear but no cracks in body or head. Drake keel has lengthwise crack. Branded "RC" and signed in block letters "CAPRIOLA"
