| One of a rig of twelve created in 1984 while
living in Arcata. Capriola's rig of over 100 diving duck decoys
has seen use on Humboldt Bay, Lake Earl, San Francisco Bay and the
Butte Sink. Hollow redwood with glass eyes and weighted
keel. Original paint with intricate comb painting on the body
and blending on head. Fine patina and good overall condition with some
wear on head, bill, keel and tail. Stamped "RC" on the bottom. |
